Two Ways to Help Manage Overdrafts
Use funds from a linked Tidemark savings or money market account as your first line of defense.
- Transfers occur automatically when funds are available.
- Funds move from your designated Tidemark savings or money market account.
- May help prevent returned items and overdraft fees.
- There is a $5 fee per overdraft transfer.
A discretionary service that may help cover eligible transactions when your checking account does not have sufficient available funds.
- Tidemark may, at its discretion, pay certain transactions instead of returning them unpaid.
- Eligible accounts may be assigned an Overdraft Privilege limit up to $750.
- Accounts that use Overdraft Privilege must be brought back to a positive balance within 30 days.
- A $30 fee applies for each eligible item paid through Overdraft Privilege.
- Tidemark will not charge a fee if the overdraft amount is $10 or less.
How Tidemark Reviews Overdraft Options
If available, funds may transfer from your linked Tidemark savings or money market account.
Fee: $5 per overdraft transfer
If Share Transfer funds are not available and your account is eligible, Tidemark may pay certain transactions through Overdraft Privilege.
Fee: $30 per eligible item paid
If neither option is available or the transaction is not covered, the transaction may be returned unpaid.
NSF Fee: $15 per returned item

Opt-In Required for Certain Transactions
Overdraft Privilege does not automatically apply to ATM withdrawals or one-time debit card purchases. Tidemark will only authorize and pay these types of transactions through Overdraft Privilege if you have opted in to this coverage.
Transactions that require opt-in coverage include:
- ATM withdrawals
- One-time debit card purchases

What Overdraft Protection May Cover
Overdraft Privilege may apply to certain eligible transactions, depending on account eligibility and transaction type.
Covered transactions may include:
- Checks
- ACH transactions
- Bill payments
- Recurring debit card transactions
ATM withdrawals and one-time debit card purchases require opt-in coverage.
