2024 Scholarship Application
The Tidemark Foundation is pleased to offer this scholarship program to high school students who plan to attend college or to existing college students who are continuing their education at the college level.
Selection Criteria:
Applicants must be high school seniors or currently enrolled in a two-or four- year accredited college. They, their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must be current members of Tidemark Federal Credit Union. Membership for the purpose of the scholarship program is defined as: Any person who has been a member of Tidemark Federal Credit Union for a minimum of 1 year prior to the date of this application and who utilizes Tidemark Federal Credit Union as their Primary Financial Institution with an active Checking account.
The Tidemark Federal Credit Union Foundation will award: two $3,000 scholarships. Selection will be based on the applicant’s record of scholastic achievement and extracurricular activities without regard to race, sex, religion, or financial needs. Selection of the recipients will be the responsibility of the Tidemark Foundation. Immediate family of Tidemark Federal Credit Union or the Tidemark Foundation directors are not eligible. Immediate family members include: children, spouse(s), siblings, grandchildren, and parents.
Applicants must plan to attend or continue attending a two- to four-year accredited college on a full-time basis. Graduate students, fellowships and post-secondary programs are not eligible for the scholarship program. If you are a high school senior and have applied to several colleges or universities but have not made a final decision on attendance, please list all schools where you’ve applied.
Scholarships are not renewable. However, as long as an applicant is a student, as defined above, they can reapply annually.
Application forms must be accompanied by the following documents:
- Applicant’s high school transcript showing all grades, SAT scores, GPA, and class rank.
- If the applicant is currently enrolled in college, he/she should include a current copy of his/her official college transcript.
- Two letters of recommendation from people other than family members. Recommendations may be written by guidance counselors, high school teachers, professors and community leaders.
Procedures:
- All scholarship applications and supporting materials must be received by Tidemark Foundation on or before April 19,2024.
- Selection will be made by May 3, 2024. Only applicants selected to receive a scholarship will be notified.
- Each recipient must respond with his/her acceptance, in writing, by May 15, 2024.
- Recipient(s) must provide a copy of their letter of acceptance to the two- or four-year accredited college they plan to attend, or proof that they are currently enrolled and will be enrolled for the 2024-2025 school year. Failure to provide documentation may result in forfeiture of the scholarship monies.
